Could not recommend LegaSea highly enough! Jimmy’s diving knowledge has got to be unparalleled and the breath work with May at the end of it all literally had me high as a kite and smiling ear to ear. Course was run smoothly, without a hiccup and we all well surpassed our expectations of what we could achieve in a weekend!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I can’t recommend Jimmy and May and Legasea enough! The freedive retreat weekend was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Jimmy and May’s knowledge, passion, and calm teaching style made the whole experience not only safe but so enjoyable. The way he blends technical expertise with a real focus on connection, mindset, and the ocean is next level. The retreat itself was so well thought out from the training and dives to the community vibe and personal growth that came with it. I walked away feeling refreshed, confident, and deeply inspired. You don’t just learn freediving with Jimmy and May, you get an experience that shifts how you see yourself and the world around you. If you’re thinking about freediving, breathwork, or just challenging yourself in a supportive environment, this is the place to do it. Thank you Jimmy, May and the Legasea team for an unforgettable weekend!

I had the BEST weekend retreat in Jervis Bay ! A weekend I will never forget. Jimmy and May made me feel welcomed & comfortable as I arrived. The accommodation was perfect with ocean views allowing the sense of zen and peace to begin the moment you walked in. It was any ocean lovers dream this weekend, being out at sea on the boat all day, line diving, to spearfishing, playing with seals, sharks and all the colourful marine life; but to top it off we actually had the chance to SWIM WITH WHALES ! A weekend of great company, perfect weather and delicious caught food! Secretly want to gate keep how great LegaSea’ retreat was, but also can’t keep my mouth shut from the excitement and amazing experience it was ! Hoping I secure my spot for the next one 🙏🏾

Last weekend I attended LegaSeas inaugural catch and cook retreat and let me say it was one of the most memorable and amazing experiences of my life. I have dived with Jimmy before but this weekend gathering as a group was a next level experience. The weekend combined breath work, yoga, line diving, spear fishing, abalone and crayfish, playing with seals, sharks and whales! As well as this we were blessed to have an amazing group of people and team of supporters who taught new skills and knowledge about the sea and life underwater. We bonded at home cooking up our catch and all have already asked to attend the next retreat! Such an all round experience and loved every moment of it!

Weekend Retreat 🌟 What an absolutely amazing and perfectly organised weekend! Every detail was thoughtfully planned, from the flow of breathwork and yoga sessions to the deep dives, expert guidance, and the powerful connection with the ocean. 🧘‍♀️🌊🫧 Swimming with seals, witnessing whales and sharks up close, gliding through schools of salmon, it was surreal. The energy, the people, the shared stories, the fresh food, everything made it so worth it. I’m walking away with a full heart, a sharper mindset, and unforgettable memories 💙 If you’re thinking about joining one of these retreats, defo do it. 1000% worth the experience. 🙌 #UnforgettableWeekend #DeepDiveRetreat #OceanConnection #GratefulHeart #NextLevelEnergy

Hands down one of the most magical and memorable weekends ever. My wife and I were lucky to be part of an intimate 2 night retreat in Jervis Bay. From the very first minute to the last Jimmy & May showcased their undeniable passion and skill sets. Morning breathwork and Yoga with May, into free-diving and spear fishing training and techniques. Bookended by beautiful breakfasts, family dinners and all round high vibes. By the end of day 2 I had the confidence and ability to transcend to 10m depth and secure my first ever spear hunt. The retreat was both a spiritual and physical experience I won’t forget anytime soon. Did I mention we swam with whales and seals as well? Exceeded any and all expectations and lite a fire in my belly for more. Bravo! 5 stars not nearly enough

If you have been contemplating doing a freedive course and are looking for a knowledge, experienced, calm, patient and encouraging instructor Jimmy McGregor(Legasea freediving) is your man. The beginner freedive course was interesting, fun, and challenging. A great experience shared with like minded folk. Jimmy guides you every step of the way sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience. Learning the physiology n psychology of breath holding, the techniques of freediving and how the body responds right through to the practical pool and open water sessions. Jimmy encourages you to challenge yourself talking you through the process but with safety a priority at all times. Thanks for a wonderful experience Jimmy.

Such an awesome experience, teaching us how to push our limits but also creating a safe place to learn and test those limits. My breath hold more then doubled and I dived deeper then I ever thought possible. Jimmy is a full time frother and all round just legend of a bloke and I would fully recommend this course to anyone who is remotely considering it. The money is well worth it and if your contemplating doing it just bite the bullet because you definitely won’t regret it!
